MANALI-LEH TOUR - 9 Days

Itinerary

Day 1
Delhi-Manali 570km/12 hours

Upon arrival at Delhi airport or train station, our driver will meet you to begin your trip to Manali. As you make your way to your destination, you will pass Kullu Valley, Sundernagar Lake, and Pandoh Dam. You will make a stop for dinner on the way and reach Manali the following day.

Day 2
Manali-Rohtang-Sarchu 220km

After an early breakfast, you will check out your hotel in Manali and begin the trip to Sarchu. You can visit places like Lahaul Valley, Rohtang, Keylong, Tandi, and Jispa on the way. After stopping for lunch, you will continue your drive to Sarchu via Baralacha Pass. Finally, you will arrive at Sarchu in the evening, where you will have dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3
Sarchu-Leh 225km

After breakfast, you will depart for Leh early morning via Nakeela and Lachangla Pass. You will stop at Pang for lunch. After lunch, you will continue your drive to Leh and pass through Skyangchu Thang (the most extensive and highest plateau in the world), Tanglang La Pass, and Indus Valley. Finally, you will reach Leh in the evening and stay overnight in a hotel.

Day 4
Leh-Nubra 120km

You will leave for Nubra Valley on Day 4. On the way, you will cross Khardungla Pass, the world’s highest motorable road. When you reach Summer, you can explore the tiny village and take a walk to the Samstanling Gompa. You will stay overnight in a camp.

Day 5
Nubra-Leh

After breakfast, you will leave the camp and head back to Leh. On the way, you can enjoy a spectacular view of the Zanskar Range from the top of Khardungla Pass. You can also enjoy the snow here. Upon reaching Leh, you will check into a guesthouse and explore the nearby market in the evening. You will stay overnight at the guesthouse.

Day 6
Leh-Pangong Lake-Leh 320km

After an early breakfast, you will begin your journey to visit Pangong Lake via Chang La Pass (the world’s third-highest motorable road). At about noon, you will arrive at Pangong Lake, the highest saltwater lake in the world, shared by India and China. You will be served a packed or hot lunch. You can enjoy your meal on the banks of Pangong Lake while taking in the beautiful vistas of the lake and its surroundings. Finally, you will take the same route back to Leh and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 7
Sham Valley Sightseeing

On Day 7, you will go on a Sham tour to see the famous Sham Valley and see places like Alchi Hydro Project and Alchi Temple, built in the 11th century by Lotsava Rinchen Zangpo. Made in the Gandhara art style, the temple is different from the architectural and painting techniques of the other monasteries in Ladakh. After visiting these attractions, you will drive back to Leh.

Day 8
Leh-Jispa

After an early breakfast, you will check out of the guesthouse and depart for Jispa. You will reach Jispa in the evening and check into the camp. You will have dinner and stay overnight at the camp.

Day 9
Jispa-Manali

You will check out of the camp after breakfast and depart for Manali. You can visit Solang Valley on the way. You will reach Manali in the evening and have dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 10
Manali-Delhi 570km/12 hours

After breakfast, you will check out of your hotel in Manali and depart for Delhi.

The Trip Cost Includes

  • Two-way economy class air tickets and railway tickets will be as per the customer’s choice.
  • Baggage Allowance as per the airline policy.
  • You may travel in small A/C or non-A/C cars, Tempo Travellers, Mini Buses, or big buses, depending on your tour group size.
  • Comfortable hotel accommodations in a twin, triple, or single room.
  • All meals - morning tea/coffee, breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
  • Tips for guides, drivers, hotels, and restaurants.

The Trip Cost Excludes

  • Government of India Goods & Services Tax (GST) of 5%.
  • For all places of sightseeing which will be visited on an inside tour, permits or entrance fees will be required.
  • An increase in airfare, airport tax, fuel surcharges, etc.
  • Any new taxes levied by the central or state government.
  • Cost of insurance.
  • Upgrading airline class, vehicle, hotel, or hotel room.
  • Hotel accommodations before and after the tour.
  • Additional expenses incurred due to forced majeure situations before, during, or after the tour such as changes in airline schedules, routes, or operations, changing the tour dates, or changing hotels.
  • Expenses such as porterage, laundry, telephone, shopping, alcoholic beverages, extra mineral water, or food not included in the group's set menu.
  • Any additional costs incurred due to illness, accident, hospitalization, or other personal emergencies.
  • Cost of any optional activity or service.
  • Anything that is not specifically listed in the 'tour price includes' column.
